AT&T 'Store of the Future' coming to Lakewood
One of AT&T’s first new concept stores in Southern California will open in mid-December at Lakewood Center on the corner of Lakewood Blvd. and Candlewood St. Construction is currently underway.
The store layout will be spread over 8,000 square feet and grouped into interactive “lifestyle pavilions” that will offer customers a glimpse of how products can be used in their everyday lives and highlight categories such as music, home automation and entertainment. There will also be community tables and explore-walls showcasing phones and accessories in a fun, hands-on environment.
To create this new and exciting space, AT&T is renovating the former First City Credit Union bank building. “We’ve been doing our best to get the store ready for the holidays and expect to be open by mid-December,” said Eric Brown, Director of Retail Execution for AT&T Greater Los Angeles.
