Voted one of the top 10 most Christmassy towns in America, Solvang is the place to be during the holidays. It’s a storybook village out of a Hans Christian Andersen tale, complete with all the sights, sounds and smells of Denmark. We’ll get you there in time for the annual Julefest (Yule-Fest) Parade, which features musicians, Danish dancers, colorful costumes, carriages and more. This year’s parade is themed “My Favorite Christmas Movie.” After the parade, the rest of the day is yours to shop and enjoy the town which is decked out for the holiday season. You’ll find one-of-a-kind gifts in the boutique shops, decadent Danish pastries and candies, and traditional Danish fare at the numerous restaurants. Meals, shops and other special activities are on your own.
Please arrive at 7 a.m. for check-in. The bus will leave promptly at 7:30 a.m.
An adult must accompany children of all ages.
