The Lakewood Beautiful Home Awards program marked its 41st anniversary this year, with 42 recognized homes chosen from 87 nominated residences.

Sixteen homeowners were honored with a Transformation Award for making significant improvements to their home’s exterior or landscaping in the past three years.
Water Wise Awards were given to 19 homeowners for using efficient irrigation and drought-tolerant landscaping while maintaining a beautiful yard and home.
Lakewood Beautiful’s judges, who include a landscape architect and community development specialist, expressed appreciation to all of the nominated homes for displaying a pride of ownership and helping make Lakewood’s neighborhoods so appealing.
When caring, committed residents invest in and care for their homes and yards, property values for everyone get a boost and the community becomes a stronger, safer place.
