Pay Water or Trash Bill

The City of Lakewood makes it easy for you to pay your water or trash bill.

You can do it by phone, by mail, online, or in person.

Here's how:

Call

Pay your water or trash bill by phone! 

Call the City of Lakewood at 1-855-785-4021 for assistance.

Visit

You can drop your bill with payment in the drop box outside the Clark Avenue entrance anytime.

Or, visit the Administrative Services counter near the Clark Avenue entrance to Lakewood City Hall between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday to pay in person.

Please note City Hall is closed on alternating Fridays. See the city calendar for dates.

 

 

 

Online

Step 1.Have your utility bill account number ready

You can pay your water or trash bill at the WaterSmart website linked below. 

Step 2.Go to the payment link

  • Already set up an online account? Log in with your password.
  • Set up an account with your water bill and zip code.
  • Or, click on the "Pay my bill" button you'll see beneath the log-in screen to make a one-time payment.

Make utility payments

Step 1.Make your check payable to City of Lakewood

Step 2.Write your account number on your check
