Mayfair Park is located on the corner of Clark Ave. and South Street in the central part of Lakewood.
Mayfair Park has served as Lakewood’s flagship recreation facility since 1951. Its name comes from the surrounding housing tract that was then known as the Mayfair District.
In 1991, the city dedicated the new 14,000-square-foot John Sanford Todd Community Center, named after former city attorney John Sanford Todd, a leader in the city’s incorporation in 1954.
This popular 18-acre park is home to the city’s annual Pan American Fiesta each May.
